The Fox Network created a commercial to honor the Racial Justice Youth Committees for their recent award from the Governor’s office. Photos from the Youth Forum on Race make up the spot so look for young people you might know! It is now airing and should run until the end of the year. |

Congratulations The Youth Racial Justice Program was recently awarded a grant from our supporters at Comcast. The $20,000 Comcast Initiative will enable the Youth Program to partner with Pima County Youth Opportunity (YO), to train ten new youth facilitators and recruiat 300 additional program participants. The YO programs serve youth from Tucson’s Empowerment Zone, especially out-of-school youth seeking assistance with education, training, and/or employment. The YWCA thanks Comcast for their generosity and are excited to work with Youth Opportunity. |
