Family Counseling Agency Cultural Competence Committee

Greater Tucson Leadership Program and Public Forums
Greater Tucson Leadership is an apolitical, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to promote effective leadership in Tucson.
Tucson 2000 is a monthly Public Forum featuring topics and guest speakers who shape and define Tucson's future. The breakfast forums are the third Friday of every month.
The Leadership Education Program classes are held twice a month throughout a five month period, January to May. The faculty is drawn from recognized Tucson leaders and the program is presented with a non-partisan and impartial approach to critical community issues which include: Team building & Problem Solving , Art, History and Culture, Government Infrastructure, Social Services, Health Care, Education/Youth, Media Economy & Environment, Criminal Justice , Diversity. Applications are now being accepted.

Healing Racism
A comprehensive educational program designed to enhance understanding of racism and how it affects both perpetrator and victim. Fundamental to the philosophy of "Healing Racism" is that no one is born a racist, but have been conditioned to behave in

Holocaust Education Program
A community education program including speakers--holocaust survivors, holocaust liberators and history overviewers-- and videos. Institute For Healing Racism
An 8 session program to promote sharing of thoughts, feelings, experiences and perspectives among diverse groups of people.
