Women's Counseling Network is the only long-term counseling
program for low-income women in the community. This life changing
service is provided by therapists who volunteer to take women referred
and screened by the YWCA into their professional practice free of
charge. The Women's Counseling Network helps women make
significant improvements in their lives.
Your Sister's Closet provides clothing appropriate for job inter-
views and to begin employment, in an attractive and supportive envi-
ronment, to unemployed and homeless women who are seeking
employment. More than 80 other organizations refer women to Your
Sister's Closet to avoid duplicating this essential employment readi-
ness program. Women also receive personal grooming products such
as shampoo, makeup and deodorant--all of the things that they need
to make a great first impression.
Your Sister's Closet and Women's Counseling Network services are
part of an wide range of services available to women who have recently
been released from prison through a collaborative partnership led by
the Primavera Foundation.
