Who We Are

Our core business is change.

As an early advocate for women's equality, racial justice, and the rights of workers, the history of YWCA USA is the history of progress in America. In Tucson, the YWCA has been an incubator for change - inspiring, resourcing, training, and empowering people to create the change they wish to see in their own lives, in our community and in the world - since 1917. Today YWCA Southern Arizona prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, age, religion, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, familial or marital status, or any other basis prohibited by federal, state or local law, statute, regulation, code or ordinance. We promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

This is your YWCA.

YWCA is not a place. We are a movement. And we are on a mission.

Get inspired. Get involved. Make a difference.
