No one should miss work or school because they don't have the clothes, shoes and personal hygiene supplies they need.
Here are three ways you can help.
1. Donate your new or gently used work ready clothing to Your Sister's Closet.
Your Sister’s Closet provides workplace-ready clothing, shoes and accessories – for free.
Want to volunteer at Your Sister's Closet or make a donation of clothing, shoes or other items?
Donations are accepted every Monday through Friday 8-5 (except holidays) at the YWCA Frances McClelland Community Center, 525 N. Bonita Ave, or by appointment. Want to work in Your Sister's Closet? Volunteer applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 520-884-7810 for more information.
2. Donate new pads, tampons and/or reusable menstrual cups to Project Period.
Project Period is an ongoing drive to collect tampons, sanitary pads and reusable menstrual cups for distribution to women, girls, and transgender people in need – and an advocacy effort to end the stigma and mystery surrounding menstruations and women's bodies with the ultimate goal being to change local, state and federal policies in order to make these products more affordable and accessible to all who need them. Products are distributed through Your Sister's Closet and through 11 partner agencies across Tucson.
Permanent Collection Sites (where you can drop off your donations):
YWCA Frances McClelland Community Center

For information about planning your own Project Period drive or volunteer opportunities, please contact email@example.com or call 520-884-7810.
3. Make a cash donation to support Your Sister's Closet & Project Period.
These programs are fueled by dozens of volunteers and by the donations of generous people throughout our community. But there are other needs the programs have to keep going. Cash donations help us purchase program supplies and infrequently donated items, and help fund the infrastructure that supports these important programs.
